"Toxic Skies" — a student-produced proof of concept for a larger series set in a dystopian world, where the air itself is deadly and survival is a daily battle.

Kara, a desperate survivor from the last known safe city, New Texas, embarks on a perilous journey in search of NOLA — a rumored sanctuary. Hunted by ruthless Ravagers and with her oxygen supply dwindling, she encounters Lucio, a hardened loner burdened by a constant fight for survival. Forced into an uneasy alliance, the two navigate the wasteland. They must risk everything for hope.

The film is written and directed by Brayden Clay, who developed the story of Kara and Lucio after cinematographer and creator Jaxon Smith proposed the concept. Having collaborated on numerous shorts, Toxic Skies marks their 1st feature-length project along with producer Roxi Storts-Berio, who served as Production Manager and Director of Graphics.
